After reading SouleMama's post about her book basket (oy! I feel a shopping trip coming from her list!) I realized that I haven't posted out our books. Because we have such a variety in ages at our home we have a big variety of books too. Plus, the boys love books that suggest activities to do. Enjoy reading!
Fairy Houses... Everywhere! this book is incredible for getting ideas to build your own fairy home and it doesn't matter if you live near the beach, woods, or the desert.
When the Root Children Wake Up the art work in this book is unbelievable gorgeous. Plus we really love the fact that mother Earth is not depicted as an old woman...
Goose Moon a lovely story about being patient... something I don't do so well when it's waiting for spring *smile*
The Little House OK not truly a 'spring' book. But we love this story for us it's about appreciating the simple things in life.
Play and Find Out about Nature this is a great book for activities for the younger bunch of us.
Spring more science activities for older kids.
Using Math Outdoors great book for kids just learning about numbers and math
It's Spring! we love everything about this book but I especially love the very first page... just being outside ahhhh.
Pelle's new suit again a family fav. every year I have this dream of finding someone that will let the boys watch them shear the sheep and maybe give up just a bit of wool... hasn't happened yet but I keep dreaming *smile*
Crafts to make in the Spring we haven't made any of the crafts out of this book in a long time and the boys use it mostly to create there own ideas from... which is even better than using the book *grin*.
Nature in your Backyard Meme LOVES this book mostly because he loves ants and worms, which reminds me I should find the story he demanded that I write down for him last year...
Birds in your Backyard this book was given to me by my Mom... but the boys haven't let go of it *smile*
Wiggling Worms at Work great for the worm lovers! This book talks all about worms and what they do and why they do it.
Ten Little Ladybugs fun counting book
Home for a Bunny a great book that has lots of animals and where they live in it.
Nature Crafts for Kids after checking this book out at the library more times than I can count I was giddy when I found it while thrifting.
Make way for Ducklings another great thrifting find
Kids Pumpkin Projects every year I have plans to have a pumpkin patch. Last year I got them in the ground but something ate them. This year because I have no time and Hazel so I'm just skipping it all together... but I live in hope of that big pumpkin patch... someday!
The Hungry Duckling a cute book to read and then take a trip to the pond.
Red Robin, Fly Up! another family favorite.
