Our Preschool box

or as Meme calls it the You/me box!  I set up this box with each of my children as they got to be preschool age.  Being a former preschool teacher, I love preschool!  So this comes easy for me.  There seems to be a lot of interest in this so I thought I would blog about it <g>.  Plus sometime I think my blog is boring so it works well when I'm asked to blog  about something specific *smile*.

I bought the under the bed box for ours because our storage area's are premium...plus I wanted Meme to be able to see most of the things with out digging.

:: a "rice and bean box"  for pouring and dumping ( I add a few coffee beans so it smells nice *smile*)

:: story glove ::  (mine was giving to me ... but I'm sure you could make one just get a large glove and stuff the ends of the fingers and tie off... add googly eyes and small pom poms for faces)

:: Bead sorting ... use tweezers when fingers get easy... good small motor skill developer ::

:: work books and stickers... I don't know why but all my littlies LOVE work books... it's just when they get older they wont touch them lol ::

:: Wipe off books and an ABC book that I made up, just for writing practice and him to glue things on that he finds ::

:: all of this makes for one happy boy!  (even though it was bed time he had to get some things out... because I was in the box <g>  ::

I just add things as I find them and take things out as they get boring or used up.  That way there is always something fresh to do.  Another plus : when my Momma comes to help me with school she doesn't have to worry about what to do with Meme... just grab the box and start digging <g>.
